Venice was a beautiful city, but not one I care to visit again. It was the right time of year to go if you like massive crowds of tourists, irritated locals and high costs of living. It was an experience to stay right on the canal, however, and getting to say 'ciao' to our gondolier as he passed by. I picked up my first moka machine, one that can't be bought online, from a little shop near the apartment and it makes the best coffee.
